This beautiful green fellow didnt even notice when I took this picture, or maybe he knew exactly what I was doing...*edit 22/1

Yes of course a tighter crop, cause this way the image has two distinct parts divided by the vertical root/stem that runs midway through the image. One half has the snake & other doesn't help ur beautiful capture in any way...!! Hence get a tighter crop with some burning of the bg to avoid getting the image divided !! +9

I like how green of the snake stands out from brownish/greyish background.
I don't think that cropping right side of picture would be that good, because now it adds to the "feeling". There's nice contrast and those parts of the tree/roots are kinda like another snake. If at all, i would just crop vertically right side, so the plant there would go away.

My only critique is that the snake's head almost touches the tree trunk, which slightly weakens the composition.
